Who do you think you are?

Just to be clear, this blog is not looking to cater to some niche interest or compete with the vegan graphic designers two blogs down because quite frankly, I don't think we're that interesting.
What this is, is an attempt to share all those little milestones we achieve as a family every day but don't get a chance to share with the people we care about until the next nationally recognised holiday and corresponding get together.

Some will say that this whole blogging thing is a bit self-centred and unnecessary...these are usually the people that grace our mailbox with their christmas family portrait and newsletter (you know, the one where everyone is wearing matching knitwear) so yeah.

Cutting the cake at our wedding in Austria

I'm Laura King and in no particular order would use these words to describe myself: student midwife,  Austrian/Italian, chocolate, latter-day saint, cat lover, wife, pretend American, book nerd, holiday enthusiast (especially christmas and halloween) and chocolate.

I am married to a wonderful man called Jared who I would describe using the following words:
environmental manager, amazing and patient husband, English, potato enthusiast (chips, mash, you name it), latter-day saint, wishes he was Batman, served his Mission in Ireland and does not own a pair of matching socks.

Our Cat Suki is pretty easy to sum up: eat, sleep, poop, activia yogurt, ragdoll, sleep, mischief, hair, poop.

Suki being Suki

We currently live in Leeds in the north of England and have recently celebrated our second wedding anniversary.
